The new year seems to be a perfect time to purge, donate, organize, and get a fresh start! l gathered some of my favorite organizational items I’m using around the house ranging from the pantry to the shower. Some of these items l discovered this year, and some items are tried and true around our home.
PLASTIC BINS
When purchasing organizational items it’s important to identify whats not working. l found I was double buying because I can’t always see what we have in the pantry. Clear bins to the rescue! I like the idea of clear bins because I can easier see what l have before going to the grocery store. Around our house we go through lots of veggie straws, spaghetti and rice to name a few! These bins from target but can also be found on Amazon or the container store.
SPIN TABLE
Do your items often get pushed to the back or are they hard to reach? I got two of these spin tables and I put one in our pantry as well as in the fridge. I suggest using one for frequently used items. These could work for your office for supplies, or one could go in your bathroom vanity. The spinning mechanism gives it so much function. Who knew the lazy Suzanne would make an organizational come back in 2022?
BATH TOYS
I used to keep Linnie’s bath toys in a red reusable target bag and it was such an eye sore for me. During a family Christmas game, I won this mesh organizer and while it’s slightly small, all of our toys fit! Bonus, it hooks inside the shower curtain (right on the hooks) so they are hidden and out of site. Here is a link to the one we have!
WIRE STORAGE BASKETS
We have a few of these in our pantry but what I like about these wire storage baskets is they are stackable. Again, I like the wire so you can see what you have.
CLEAR GLASS CONTAINER
I have 3 glass containers on our counter which house our coffee and pancake mix. I was happy to find these jars in the dollar bin at Target, they have a fun modern spin on them with the black lids. Since I can't link Target dollar bin items, I found similar one's at the container store here. I found these black scoops that would be fun to use with them.
ALL THINGS LOVELY
This book is more than a cookbook. It's a lovely coffee table book filled with life experiences (defeats and victories), prayers, encouragment, hosting tips, organization and recipes. The author, Jenn Johnson shares her pantry and how she organizes so I had to add this book to my list. I've skimmed a couple pages and it's dynamite! Shop here!
Hope these are helpful as you start organizing your home for the new year!

Adriana
