Freshen Up for Spring

It feels like its been forever since I wrote a blog post. In my defense, I had a baby girl and transitioning to momhood has had my full attention for the last year. Evangline is now 8-1/2 months and bit by bit, I am finding a new rhythm!

We are living in a historical time due to the quarentine/pandemic which has caused many of us to have to stay home. Looking for ways to bring spring into our homes has been difficult but it's not impossible! Even though we can't go out to get inspired and shop, we can still make our homes happy and feel fresh. Here are 3 ways I wanted to share with you:

FLORALS

While some are going out to get groceries, others of us are using the convenience of grocery delivery. If you are going out, buy a couple bouquets of flowers to add to your kitchen table, mantle, or coffee table. If you are like me, I enjoy going out to my yard and taking clippings from bushes or newly budding trees. Put your yard clippings in a vase or mason jar and enjoy the lightness it brings to your space. Don't be afraid to go big with clippings and make a bold statement!

PRINTABLES

Pictures of nature are another way you can bring spring into your decor. I stumbled upon these free printables from Joanna Gaines a few years ago, and I find myself going back to them now and again to disply through my home. You can use frames you have and do a little DIY paint job, or you can hang them from string or a ribbon if you print them on nice paper.

THROW PILLOWS

Must I say more? A throw pillow can quickly shift the atmosphere of your spaces. Since we are all sticking close to home, I rounded up 3 choices online. All of the sites have delightful options.

I hope these can bring the air of spring into your home!

x,

Adriana
