Valentine's Day always catches me by surprise. There have been years where we've gone all out and years where we've kept it simple. This goes for gift giving too! We have plans to celebrate this year, and are excited to go out and spend some quality time together. I am a big gift gal, and want a zillion things of course but I wanted to round up some great gifts some of which I have and LOVE that you can give to friends, family, or your significant other.
Buffalo Plaid Travel Bag I love all things buffalo plaid and this bag is no exception. It's a great overnight or weekend bag and it comes in many print options. I like how the plaid is paired with the leather and I appreciate having the options to adjust the straps.
Minnetonka Moccasins There's always someone who needs slippers amongst my family members. Though somewhat boring, Minnetonka Moccasins are a win and they have such cute styles for about 50.00! You can pair them with some fun socks and candy to make it festive. Hubby just got himself a pair to replace some old one's and he can't stop talking about how comfy they are.
Fraiche Foods Cook Book I got this book as a gift 2 Christmases ago and boy does it sure get me out of the rut. It's heavily plant based and it's helped our meat and potatoes eating family a great deal. It's written by Jillian Harris and Tori Wesszer, who is a nutritionist. I appreciate having the influence of a nutritionist because there's always a healthy veggie or two snuck into the recipes ie: zucchini and carrots in muffins and etc. I do warn though, there are often many steps and lots of blending and pureeing but it's worth it! The recipes are delicious. Great for the foodie or cook in your family and so pretty to display!
Heart Plate Set I saw this on another gift guide and I thought it was just darling and can be used year round. They look like individually made pieces and I love the heart detail. The collection has everything from serving dishes to measuring spoons. It's just DARLING.
How Do I Love Thee My husband bought this book for our daughter Evangeline when she was about 7 months. This book is so beautiful and the illustrations are so sweet. Evangeline doesn't always sit through the reading, but she often sits and pages through and looks at the drawings. I even page through it and get emotional as an adult, this is good for many ages (0-8ish)!
Heart Necklace This is more of a classic Valentine's Day gift for anyone from a little girl to an adult. I love how subtle and classy it is, it can be worn casually or dressed up. You can even add several letters for initials.
Minky Velvet Blanket I realize not everyone wants a pink blanket but I was excited to find this one. It reminds me of beddy's bedding for kids, but this one adults can enjoy! It is weighted, which is all the rave these days. My hubby has a weighted blanket and he uses it to relax on the sofa after work. I just love the texture detail and that it comes in many colors.
We recently installed one of these and are so glad we made the purchase! This gift is great for the techy in your life, and also comes in so handy when you don't know who's at the door and you want to check before answering. Installation was pretty straight forward though we had to drill into brick which required a special drill. It's also a great tool if you're out of town and want to keep watch over your home!
Happy Valentines Day and hope this gift list can helpful!
